Athletic Involvement:

Holly is a 3 Sport Athlete and competes in Golf, Basketball, and Softball. Holly is a Team Captain in Golf and Basketball and is a 10 Time Letter Winner. Holly was also selected as the Ellsworth – WIAA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In golf, she placed 6th in the State Golf Tournament, was a 4 Time All-Conference Winner, Regional Champion, 4 Time Sectional Qualifier, State Place Winner, and had the lowest score on day 2 in the state tournament. Holly also got a Hole in 1 on her home course. In softball, their team was Regional and Sectional Champions and a State Qualifier. She is on the Trap Shooting Team and placed 2nd at state while also working as a summer school aid in archery. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a Mentor to high school students, and a Tutor for elementary school and middle school students. She is a 2-year student council member and holds the Vice President position for 1 year. Holly also had a part in the school play as a salt shaker.

Extracurricular School Activities/Community Involvement:

Holly continues to support the youth by giving back in the sports of golf and basketball by helping with their clinics and programs while also umping youth softball. Through her church, she went on a mission trip to Rhode Island to paint houses and has been to Feed My Starving Children 5 times.

Holly is goal orientated and is dedicated to what she does, she has an outstanding work ethic and goes all out in whatever it is she is focusing on. Holly is at her best when the best is needed. She rises to the occasion and thrives under pressure, she takes the challenge and stands to conquer it.

Holly is a good leader by example. She works hard at overcoming her weaknesses which gives her great ability to improve and shows great discipline. She goes above and beyond what is required of her. This makes her teammates and those that surround her rise to the occasion, making stronger team dedication, strength, and cohesion.

She doesn’t care about the degree of work that has to be done or how the position is viewed, whether prestigious or not, she will work until the job is complete.

Holly is courteous, responsible, and reliable. She volunteers her time in the community to help others from youth groups to those in need. She is willing to step outside of her comfort zone for the betterment of the overall goal. She is respected by her peers and her opinion and friendship carry meaning. When she commits to something, you know you can depend on her and it will be done correctly and to the utmost quality. She is thoughtful and embraces the future challenges to come. For these reasons, I believe Holly is an excellent candidate to win this award.
