ATLANTA -- The Coca-Cola Bottlers Association has elected Michael Faber, chief executive of Viking Coca-Cola and a leading full-line vending company, to serve as president of the organization that represents Coca-Cola bottlers throughout the U.S.

Faber, who will serve a two-year term as president, has chaired the association's industry issues committee, which is responsible for contractual affairs with the Coca-Cola Co. He also has served as treasurer and vice-president. Founded in 1914, CCBA is headquartered in Atlanta and operates as a subsidiary of Coca Cola Enterprises Inc. Faber joined his family's business, Faber Family Cos. (St. Cloud, MN), in 1998 after his father died.
